Pasta Bake

MEAT SAUCE:
600g mince
420g can tomato soup
1 onion
3/4 cup grated carrot
3/4 cup grated zucchini
1/2 cup frozen peas
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 teaspoons beef stock powder
3 cups cooked macaroni noodles

TOPPING:
1 ½ tbsp margarine
3 tbsps plain flour
1 1/2 cups milk
3/4 cup grated cheese


Cook mince in large pan, drain liquid, add carrots, zucchini, onion, peas and soup.  Cook for 2 mins, stirring continuously.  

Add stock powder, tomato paste and some salt.  Cook further 5 mins stirring frequently.  Fold in cooked macaroni and mix together well.  Pour into lasagne dish.


TOPPING:  Melt margarine in saucepan, add flour and cook 1 min.  Slowly add milk using a whisk to avoid lumps.  Stir continuously until thick. Pour over meat, sprinkle with cheese and bake for 25-30 mins.
